Harold served in the R.C.A.F. 135 Figher Squadron in WWII. He saw service in the Aleutian Islands.
Predeceased by his wife Hazel. He leaves a sister Theresa McLaury, Everett, Wash.; brothers Raymond & Zelma, Stella, ON, and Walter & Mary, Parksville, B.C.; 8 children: Ronald & Christine, Cheryl & Arie Winkelhorst, Lyle, Dennis & Lynda, Ruth, Joan & tom Pichard, Alan, Glenn & Carol; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Harold loved the ocean and fishing, always had a smile and story to tell, ready and willing to lend a helping hand to a friend, neighbour or stranger.
Harold’s cremated remains will be interned in
Hately Memorial Gardens, Victoria, B.C.
