Irene passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at the Stanford Community Care Campus in Parksville, BC. She was 84 years old. She was married to Jim Douglas who predeceased her on April 4, 2008.
Together they had 4 children: James, Jean, Robert and Gordon. Irene loved to garden and meet with her friends at the local McDonalds. She is survived by her three sons, James, Robert, Gordon, ten grand children and three great grand children.
A memorial will be held in the family home located at 126 Hickey Street, on
Saturday March 24, 2012 at 4 p.m.
