Jacqueline Lucille Williamson

of Nanoose Bay, BC passed away on June 14, 2013 at the age of 78. After an enduring and courageous battle with CADASIL she died peacefully in Trillium Lodge.

Born in Guymon, Oklahoma on March 12, 1935, Jacqueline Lucille was the fourth daughter born to homesteaders Dela & Percy Tomlinson. Jackie married her high school sweetheart James Carroll Williamson in 1951. With 4 children, the family emigrated from the United States to Edmonton, Alberta, in 1965.

Jackie excelled in a number of jobs but found her true passion in the real estate industry. Jackie was one of Red Deer, Alberta’s most respected and successful realtors until moving to Vancouver Island in 1998. Jackie enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, reading and any kind of fishing and boating adventure with the love of her life, Jim Williamson.

Jackie is survived by her loving family: husband Jim, and children Michael, Jena, Cindy & Lisa. Jackie was also blessed with ten grandchildren: Andrea, Jason, Jesse, Matt, Riali, Rees, Natalie, Amadeus, Casey, Nathan, and her great grandsons, Sawyer and Grayson. Jackie’s eldest sister, Eileen Pierce resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Percy and Dela Tomlinson, her sisters Bonnie and Billye Margaret, and her brothers Sonny and Max.
