Beloved husband and father passed away peacefully from a lengthy illness. Jim was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth, and children Gordon, Margaret (predeceased by Tom), Colin (Rose), Elizabeth (Gord), Karen (Barry), and grandchildren Grant, Shaunna, Taylor, Tia, Mark, and Scott. Lovingly remembered for his great sense of humour and warm hugs. Special thanks to Dr. Desai (family doctor), as well as the staff of NRGH. Extra special thanks to the palliative care team for all their caring and comfort.
A service will be held on March 27th, 2:00pm at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 921 Wembley Rd. in Parksville.
