James (Jim) Fulton died peacefully at home on Tuesday April 24, 2012 with his wife Shirley by his side. Jim was born in Ontario in 1930. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, his son Bill, his daughter Julie, brother Robert, sister Lorraine and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim started his education at the Royal Military College in Kingston, ON followed by his involvement in the Korean War. Once discharged, he obtained his Masters and Doctorate in Civil Engineering. He worked as a Civil Engineer in various locations in Ontario. His last position was with the Federal Government in Ottawa. Jim and Shirley moved to Vancouver Island in 1987 and enjoyed boating. Retirement also saw them travelling far and wide.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Craig Bay Clubhouse, 1300 Gabriola Dr Parksville, BC on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 2:00PM.
