Jim passed away peacefully April 15, 2011 in Nanaimo. Born January 25, 1917, in Canmore Alberta and raised in Vancouver. He leaves to mourn and will be terribly missed by wife of 71 years Margaret, their two children David (Susan), Peggy (Stan) Robertson; grandchildren Paul (Deanne), Christine (Arnt), Scott (Lisa), Cathy, and great grandchildren Brandan, Stephanie, Zachary, Aila, Brooke, and Justin.
In 1965 after a long career in the coastal forest industry he and Margaret moved to Prince George to operate their own business. They retired back to Vancouver Island in 1982 to spend their time golfing, traveling and fishing.
