JEAN B. BYER (nee Rafter)
June 30, 1924 - October 19, 2015
Jean Byer, formerly of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully in Parksville, BC, on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the age of 91 years.
Predeceased by her husband Stan, and siblings Tom, Dorothy and Rita, Jean is survived by her son Doug (Leeanna), grandchildren Teresa (Jeff Engel), Dan and Sarah, and niece Lynn Hughes and nephew Alan Hughes, and their families.
A faithful Blue Jays fan, Jean’s wit and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew her.
The family especially wishes to thank the wonderful team at Stanford Place - Fairview Unit, who cared for Jean for the past eleven months.
Be at peace, dear lady.
A remembrance will be held for Jean in
Edmonton at a later date.
