Paul started his career in construction in Edmonton and decided to move his family from Edmonton to the Parksville area in the early 70's. It was during this time that he started his construction business, JP Homes. In the early 80's he moved to Squamish to work in Whistler doing fine finishing in homes, where he earned the nickname "The Inspector" as he was frequently heard saying "Yes... that looks nice... now take it apart and build it right!" He retired back to the Parksville area where he continued to keep busy in his woodwork shop.
Paul is predeceased by his daughter Marie and granddaughter Samantha.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of almost 61 years, Georgette, daughters Helene (Norm) McGregor, Carol (David) Calder, Annette (Ian) Addy and son Eric (Ruth) Brosseau. Paul is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be no service by request.
