It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a loving man. A gentle man. A man of few words and a great heart.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 51yrs, Bernice, and his children Phil (Tanya), Glen (Linda), and Cathy (Dale), and his brother Darryl (Carolyn) and his sister Norma (Doug) Gardner. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Brad, Will (Sammi), Tamara (Chris) and Nicole (Mike) and great grandson Cameron. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Cecelia Rankine. Whether you knew him as John, Jack, Dad, Grandpa or Grandpa Jack, he will be remembered and loved forever in that unique way he had in our hearts.
No formal service by request. A family picnic will be held later to celebrate his life.
