Ken passed away peacefully and comfortably ending his painful battle with cancer.
Ken was a dedicated and loving husband to Vi, father to Shea, and to his daughter in-law Shandell.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. He will be dearly missed by his remaining brother Larry.
Ken was a successful businessman and avid sportsman. His outgoing and energized personality-initiated friendships [personal and business]. With the same enthusiasm, Ken supported the community through Service Clubs and executive positions in the Chamber of Commerce.
Ken was very active and respected in the Automotive Industry [Director for Vancouver Island] and through his Parksville Auto Parts business.
Ken was a founding member of the Oldtimers Hockey Club - the Bald Eagles. He thoroughly enjoyed the numerous games and tournaments as well as organizing the Bald Eagles to play the Retired Professional Hockey Players community events games at the Parksville Arena.
With being totally involved with family, business, sports and experiencing many memorable travel experiences, Ken lived an amazing full life.
We will miss our wonderful Husband, Father, and Father-In-law and will always love and remember our "Greatest Man in the World".
