Hand in hand, with her soul mate Ron by her side, Lois peacefully left this world. Lois (eldest of 5 siblings) was born, raised and married in Victoria, BC where she and Ron raised their 3 children, Greg (Tammy), Terry (Joe) and Jay.
In the mid 1970’s they moved to Parksville where Lois enjoyed life with her garden and being surrounded by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whom she adored unconditionally. Lois loved being outdoors and will be greatly missed at our annual family campout.
Lois was not one for parties, although she enjoyed several decades of square dancing. We therefore have honoured her request there be no service or memorial. She wished to go out quietly, the way she lived her life. If anyone would like to make a donation to the charity of their choice, in Lois’ name, that would be appreciated. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at NRGH for their care and kindness given to Lois.
