Marquerite passed away at the age of 92 on July 19, 2009 at The Gardens in Qualicum Beach. She is survived by 2 sons Neil (Sandy) and Keith (Clover) and 4 grandchildren, Craig, Dana, Michaela and Emerson.
She as born on the farm in Saskatchewan to George and Anne Richardson and in her late teens moved to Calgary, where she met her husband Joseph. In 1974 they retired to Qualicum Beach where they were involved in square dancing, the legion and enjoyed camping. She was also an accomplished artist. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years in 2000 and her sisters Irene Vaughan and Phyllis Tatton.
The Family wishes to thank the staff at The Gardens in Qualicum Beach for her personal care.
A funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Qualicum Beach on July 24 at 12 pm.
