With her family by her side, Muriel passed away on April 8, 2011 at the age of 89 in the Palliative Care ward at NRGH. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (Reg) LeBlanc of Toronto, granddaughter Elaine (Max) Lagace of Toronto, cousins Sandy (Gladys) Slater, Ian, Chris & Alex Forrester, Great Nephew Michael and Basil Fox.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 1:30 pm at St. Stephens United Church, 150 Village Way in Qualicum Beach.
