Myrtle Irene Roberts (nee Boman)
May 20, 1924 – Nov. 3, 2015
Mom is in heaven now with our Dad, Harry, our sister, Mary and most recently our cousin Stan. Myrtle was an awesome mom and she led by example. She was the core of our family and communication through her was “faster than Facebook”. She loved jokes, listening to the radio and hearing about our “adventures” – even though we gave her worries at times.
Mom lived life on her own terms and had jobs for us all. Her 91 year legacy includes 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren so far - who all treasure family. She believed in prayer, the Canucks and glucosamine.
She will be celebrated on November 14 at 11:30 am at the Catholic Church of Ascension in Parksville.
Mom gave frequently to the food bank in support of healthy families, if you did as well she would be grateful – and she would be happy if you said a prayer for someone.
