Olive Eleanor (Stordahl) Aalhus
79 years - April 30, 1935 - August 1, 2014
Following a year and a half long battle against cancer, fought courageously with dignity and grace, Olive passed away peacefully at home into the presence of the Lord, surrounded by her husband and family. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
Left cherishing her memory and celebrating the life she lived is her husband of 55 years, Kjell; her sister Phyllis (Norman) Ritchot; her children Lyn (Fraser) Cocks, Wendy (Graham) English, and David (Penny) Aalhus; her grandchildren Ryan (Melanie), Melodie (Jesse), Jill (Clive), Emily, Olivia, Luke (Michelle), Bethany (Ryan), Daniel (Lindsey), Kaitlyn, Jonathan, James, Anna, and Aymee; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial celebrating her life will be held at Island Gospel Centre (90 McColl Road in Bowser, B.C.) on August 19, 2014 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or Mission Aviation Fellowship.
