It is with a saddened heart that we share the passing of Rick Menzies on Wednesday January 29, 2020.
Rick was a loving brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Born in Vancouver in August of 1949, he retired in Parksville after many years as an operating engineer, building roads throughout the interior and participating in building the Island Hwy, with a particular skill in accurately maintaining the slope and grade in the building of BC's burgeoning highways.
A family Celebration of Life will be planned in the coming months.
