In loving memory ~
Riva Milner West died on October 30 at the age of 77 Years. She grew up in Vancouver and was fortunate to have lived in Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary before arriving to spend her last years in Qualicum Beach.
Riva was predeceased by her husband, Mac West. She leaves her children Jake (Yoko) and Naomi (Wade) and her grandchildren, Noah and Sasha. Riva had a passion for reading that began with her first library card in grade two and never diminished. She loved to learn and share what she had read and learned. To that end, she enjoyed facilitating several groups at the Seniors Centre including a writing group, qi gong/tai class and a healing circle. Walking was her other great passion. The trails and walks in Qualicum were there to be explored and enjoyed by herself and walking with friends.
Saying goodbye to children, grandchildren, family,
friends and community is difficult. And ...
