Bob was born in Idaho and raised in Fort St. John. Predeceased by his parents and five siblings and son Robert. Survived by his dear wife Ellen; son Jim (Sheryl), sisters-in-law Iris and Elaine, two grandsons and four great grandchildren as well as a large extended family.
Apart from his careers in Sales and the Lumber Industry, Bob also enjoyed a career in the Public Service working for the Federal Parliament and Provincial Legislature. He loved all sports and in later years he was very active in the Parksville Lawn Bowling Club as one of it's founding members.
Bob will always be remembered as a kind man with a great sense of humour, a wonderful smile and a terrific zest for life.
