“Forever Fishing”

The Traber family sadly announces the passing of Ron Traber on Saturday May 21, 2016. He was predeceased by his loving wife Karen.

Ron was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and enjoyed his retirement from the Department of Fisheries living at his home in Parksville, BC. Dad loved fishing, crafts, baking and going to garage sales with his grandkids.

Ron was a devoted father, papa, and friend who will be sadly missed by his daughters Rhonda (Phil) and Heidi (Lucky), grandchildren Robert, Noah, and Eden, his sister Rosalie (Dave), his brother Rick, and his partner Alice, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to

“Make a Wish” foundation for children.
