It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Sharon Deines of Parksville, BC on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the age of 79.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alan of 44 years; her son Clark (Janice); her stepson Brian (Lisa); her grandchildren Eric, Miranda (Trevor), Lee, Joseph and Arielle; her great granddaughters Rosalind and Queniva; her brother Doug, her sisters Susan and Kathie, and their families. She was predeceased by her daughter Michelle, father Alexander, mother Janice, sister Gail and brother Raymond.
Sharon was a loving and devoted wife. Together, Alan and Sharon enjoyed many fishing adventures and wonderful trips they both treasured. As an accomplished seamstress whose creative outlet was sewing, quilting and knitting, her family was incredibly fortunate to be on the receiving end of her many beautiful endeavours. A great chef who couldn't resist a new recipe, Sharon always made sure that the pantry was well stocked with her home-made goods and that her guest were treated to a nice meal!
She was also an attentive mom, adoring grandma, and G.G. Her grandchildren will endearingly remember her as a ray of sunshine, and were blessed to have known her love, warmth, patience and knowledge over the years.
Sharon is remembered with great fondness by all her friends who loved her sense of humour. She will be forever missed by all.
Due to winter travel restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
