In Loving Memory ~

My loving twin and best friend, Sheil (as she likes to be called) died on January 13 at the Courtenay Hospice.

She is survived by her sisters in Halifax, Nancy Rainnie, and Janet Benvie, as well as nieces and nephews.

Sheil was fun loving and always had time to talk with anyone she met. She was known for her smile and her great sense of humour. She loved the outdoors and would read on her deck as well as mine even if the weather was cold.

She particularly loved to swim at Spider Lake, golf at Arrowsmith and Brigadoon golf courses and walking along Rathtrevor Beach. Sheila had many good friends and we would like to thank them as well as the nursing staff at Courtenay Hospice, the palliative care Doctor Hunter and her GP, Doctor Papo.

What we have once enjoyed we can never lose...

All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
