January 4, 1931 - April 24, 2020
We regret to announce the passing of Sherwood Moore, born in Vancouver, British Columbia on January 4, 1931, and resident of Qualicum Beach for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nora Moore; his daughter, Colleen Moore of Qualicum Beach; and his Sisters, Catherine Clarke (Pink Mountain, BC.), and Evelyn Baker (Wonowon, BC).
After many years working in the federal government: Customs and excise, National Revenue in Ontario, he returned to BC. Sherwood served on many national and local Baha'i Administrative bodies in Ontario and BC. He was a volunteer with SOS in the Income Tax Programme, Medical Assistance Drives, and Meals on Wheels. Additionally, he participated in COPS, Speedwatch, and Emergency Social Services. He also belonged to the National Association Of Federal Retirees.
He was an involved caring neighbour, hospitable and generous, loving to family and friends.
