Shirley Aileen Leach
November 21, 1935 – September 4, 2013
Shirley passed peacefully at home with her family at her side on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. She is survived by her soul mate, and beloved husband and partner of 28 years, Dennis; daughter, Dawn Morrison; grandchildren Jesse S Morrison, Hayden Leach, Daralyn Leach, Analisa, Taylor and Matthew Leach. Predeceased by her parents Joanie and Donald Duke, and siblings: Opal, Regie, Gordon, and Ken.
Shirley was born in Calgary, Alberta. Upon finishing school, she ventured to California where she worked for Kodak and later Hewlett Packard. Her daughter was born in California. The 80’s found her back in Canada where she met her beloved husband Dennis.
Shirley was active in the Lighthouse Floor Curling Club and very much enjoyed her simple life in the country.
