DECEMBER 4, 1926 – NOVEMBER 23, 2011
Devoted husband, father, grandfather passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Elinor, children; Michael (Hannah), Kathleen, David (Catherine) and sister Pat. He is also survived by his second family, Leeanna (David), Dean (Jacqueline), Mark (Michelle), Eileen (Raymond) and William, plus 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren from both families.
Stanley had a distinguished career in the Royal Canadian Navy and retired as Lieutenant Commander, was a dedicated teacher at Edward Miln Secondary School and was a strong supporter of the Navy Cadets and devoted member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He touched many lives and will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br #76, Qualicum Beach on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 12:00PM.
