Susan (Suzi) Marlene FIMRITE
September 3, 1953 – January 20, 2016
Susan passed away in Nanoose Bay, BC on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at age 62 years.
Born in Edmonton, AB to parents Harry & Laura (aka Hilda/Toots) Nakonechny (both predeceased). And predeceased by sister Rita Ferguson and second husband Larry Godkin. First marriage was to Ian Jackson. She is survived by her husband and soul mate, Dennis Fimrite of 8 years, sisters Shirley Andresen, Diana Christante, and Judi Jutras. Also wonderful step children, grand and great grand children and many nieces and nephews. The greatest of in-laws, and also blessed with great long-term friends.
Graduated Eastglen High, Edmonton, U of Toronto in financial credit management degree. Had a successful 23 year career with CN Rail and in 1984 left CN and Edmonton to move to Nanoose Bay, BC. In 1999 she started a new exciting career as a travel agent with CruiseShipCentres.
Susan will be cremated at Parksville BC and her ashes will be scattered at a later date by her husband and close family/friends.
A Celebration of Life was held Sunday,
January 24, 2016 at Nanoose Library Hall.
