Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1952. He passed away on June 1, 2012 in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife and soul mate Mary; his parents Ralph & Eva; and two brothers, Maxwell and Clayton. He is survived by his sisters, Mae (Chris), Cecelia (John), Marita (Orvel) and sisters-in law, Colleen & Penny. He also leaves behind 13 nephews and nieces and their families, and special friends, Terry & Judith Knight.
Pat’s working years included several years in the banking industry, adventures as an entrepreneur, and most recently, a management position with B.C. Lotto Corp. Many golf courses will be minus an enthusiastic player. Regular football pools will be a member short. Everyone who knew or worked with Pat will miss his quick wit and dry sense of humour.
A private graveside service was held on June 5, 2012 at Yates Funeral Home in Parksville.
