I would like to call the attention of Qualicum Beach town council to the blind corner at the intersection of Crescent Road West and The Old Island Highway.
The stop line that motorists are required by law to stop at is at least 15 feet too far in from the highway to see anywhere past the fence that is located there.
It would be relatively inexpensive to move the stop line about 15 feet closer to the highway and therefore ensure a much safer intersection for everyone — including cyclists.
