I am writing you this letter to help a recent bike thief understand the hurt he/she has caused my nine-year-old son and our family.
Recently the thief came into our yard and stole my son’s Redline Proline BMX racing bike. In taking his bike, he has devastated my son and myself.
I want him to know that I am a single mom that works two jobs to provide for my family. It takes a lot of savings and planning to be able to pay for the equipment and fees so my son can participate in the sports that he loves.
I sincerely hope the thief will reconsider his actions of taking my son’s bike, and will return it unharmed, as I do not have the resources to replace his bike.
