Coffee donor earns double shot of karma

I recently had an unexpected trip to the NRGH ER dept. I came in by ambulance in extreme pain so didn’t think to even bring a thing with me other than my care card.

First, I’d like to thank the paramedics for their speedy and caring service. Next I’d like to thank the NRGH ER staff for their amazing expertise. I’d also like to thank the many staff that cared for me during my stay of five days in hospital. I realized that these professionals are working with an outdated building but doing a fantastic job with what they are given to work with.

The main reason, other than thanking everyone, is to give an extra big ‘thank you’ to a very kind stranger. This man renewed my faith in humanity and the pay it forward movement. To the man in the elevator named Robert who gave me $10 so I could go buy myself a decent coffee at the Code Blue coffee shop… your kind, sweet gesture helped me through my hospital stay.

I did send my daughter to try to find you to thank you and pay you back but she couldn’t locate you. So may you be paid back with positive karma! Your kind gesture mattered.
