If you are a Qualicum Beach resident and you missed editor John Harding’s editorial last week, I urge you to read it.
While describing certain political behaviour in Qualicum as “disingenuous at best” over the last 16 months, it is important to note Harding’s views comes in fresh, unbiased and uninvolved.
It has been clear to many of us for a very long time that Teunis Westbroek clings on to the mayor’s chair for all the wrong reasons.
One hundred years ago the number two cause of death was accident. To have a mayor, in this day and age, play tiddlywinks with the number one safety institution in your community has just got to be political suicide.
Finally, I see a change coming.
