Disclosure is key

Potential purchasers will have to be told about the restrictions on cabins

Cabins on the Beach? Pretty big, pretty fancy cabins. Hope the folks buying them realize they are buying for only a 180 day stay a year.

Current zoning allows for condo resort units in the tourist commercial area on the waterfront which are for temporary accommodation. Parksville’s definition of temporary is 180 days maximum stay in any calendar year.

Yes, folks can come and go as they wish as stated in the press item provided they don’t overstay their 180 days. Full disclosure must be made to prospective buyers.
