Thank you John Harding for bringing to light the inefficiency of the ICBC monopoly in your recent editorial.
Hopefully you will continue to enlighten B.C. residents of the financial burden this imposes and pull for a move to private enterprise. As a comparison, my wife and I have three vehicles in Alberta and our annual insurance cost is $1,195.
As a retiree with desires to move to Parksville, I first have to convince my wife to quit her job and then hope, with the present economic morass, that I can sell my home for more than $300 dollars.
