Seems that recent letter writer Carol Dowe has a solution in search of a problem where no such problem exists.
I have lived in Qualicum Woods for 14 years and have never seen an aircraft come close to any trees. I am also in the flight path to the airport, and again, no problem.
Let’s leave the airport alone. We’ve been down that road before. Perhaps the time is opportune for our town council to nip this in the bud and declare that the airport is here to stay, end of discussion.
