I am delighted to hear that you are keeping warm during power outages. As the temperature dropped, the air became more difficult for me to breathe. Over the holidays, I had to start using one puffer, then added a second one and a third. My neighbors kept warm, by burning cheap fuel.

Light the fire, enjoy the savings and maybe give a thought to others in your neighbourhood, who are made ill through your action.

Yes, in Canada we used wood for many years to keep warm. We evolved to other fuels, less polluting and more effective.

We light our gas fireplace during power outages.
