LETTER: More support needed for train travel on Vancouver Island

Other countries have better access

Why don’t we have access to train travel like most countries, including eastern Canada?

More and more people are retiring here to Vancouver Island, needing public transportation. They don’t want to use cars especially in winter weather, and when roads are not passable due to fire, accidents, etc. We should have alternate transportation routes so that our communities, people, and goods remain accessible.

Please, write to your municipal, provincial and federal government representatives for support for train travel on Vancouver Island.
