On Feb. 24 at Qualicum Beach Airport, there was a sendoff for our brother Chief Michael Recalma, wife Sharon Recalma and donor Scott Harrison, with Mike to receive a kidney transplant in Vancouver.

The family extends their gratitude to Scott for the “gift of life - gift for life”; no words can be spoken for the sacrifice.

Since Mike had been diagnosed with kidney failure in 2018, there has been tremendous outpouring of community support.
