This is a letter of sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the the very kind person who found our mother’s plaque that had come loose and fallen off her and our father’s bench at the end of Parksville Community Park.
On a recent visit, my brother went to the bench and noticed that our mother’s plaque was missing, very upsetting as we had no idea what had happened.
My brother went to the city hall to see what the procedure was for replacement, a short time after he was contacted by the city manager to advise that the plaque had been located in their lost and found bin.
As a family we are deeply appreciative to the person who turned her plaque in.
So a very big thank you, whoever you are.
