No trash cash

Inventor may find himself disappointed with the response to his great idea

The coin-operated garbage bin idea, as discussed in a recent NEWS article by Neil Horner, is a little over optimistic I think.

I’d bet that a lot of people, with bag in hand, will just leave it on the ground, or worse in the woods, if they see that it’ll take $2 to put it in the bin.

The idea that an apartment building can turn its disposal problem into a money maker — forget it. Trash to cash, as suggested, won’t happen if the public is involved.

Sorry if I rained on someone’s inventive parade.
