Other gas up, too

The price of natural gas has also gone through the roof

Usually when the price of gasoline goes up a few pennies there is a flood  of letters to the press.  However, I don’t recall anyone ever writing about the price of natural gas.

The wellhead price of natural gas is the lowest it has been for a decade, but has the price we pay gone down? No.

Those of us who heat with natural gas have been paying the same price for the past four years, which is higher than the preceding years.

I decided to call Fortis to question this. After getting the usual mechanical voice, I was directed to press zero to speak to a customer service representative. I was spoken to by a delightful young lady who wasn’t fully able to answer my question but offered to do some research and call me back.  Which she did some two hours later.

The outcome was exactly as I expected. A corporate spin. If you want to test your patience give them a call.
