I wonder if anyone has taken a good look at our beautiful Community Park recently?
It is looking sadly neglected, uncared for and unloved.
The once lovely garden areas are full of weeds, dandelions abound, none of the areas around the trees have been weeded in a very long time and the longer this is left the more difficult it will be to restore it to its former glory.
This park is a jewel in Parksville’s crown and was always a place where one was proud to take visitors — but not the way it is right now. I realize money is always a problem but surely something can be done — and soon.
The planters on the highway also require attention.
