Plants come back

When invasive broom is destroyed, native plants can come back

Wow!  On Sunday I cycled from Denman Island to Qualicum Beach and am so impressed with the work of your broom troops! Aside from less broom than I expected to see, I also saw:

Saskatoon berry, Kinnikinnick in abundance, Twinflower, False lily of the valley, Trillium, a beautiful large patch of moss that I know is special, but whose name I don’t know off hand and many more.  It’s not about the absence of broom but the presence of all these wonderful native plants that can’t be there if the broom is.  This work is so valuable.  Thank you, thank you!
