How about supporting something of great importance for a change.
Stop undermining decisions which are in place. I know for a fact that their are a large numbers of citizens of Oceanside who are very supportive of retaining our rail service on the island.
Do you think for one moment there are not costs involved to maintain trails, bike paths and so on if the rails were to be removed?
The representative on the Regional Distsrict Board from Qualicum Beach should be ashamed of himself for not supporting the board’s past decisions to bring the Island rails up to standard and get on board with restarting a very much needed rail service between Courtenay and Victoria.
Until the last spike is driven, don’t give up on our rails ...
