I am responding to the letter ‘Crosswalk safety’ (The NEWS, Jan. 6) written by Allan Clark.
This individual should consider being re-evaluated to determine if he should continue driving a “death machine,” as he put it.
We live in a beautiful, slow-paced community with an abundance of “elderly couples,” some of whom walk to their chores due to various conditions.
We have deer, rabbits, dogs and cats in our town. How about slowing down and enjoy life in one of the greatest places to live, Qualicum Beach.
