I think I have a solution for those people who insist on driving and texting.
Instead of increasing our ICBC premiums by 5.5 per cent, when they are caught texting, take away their vehicle for a month or so. I would almost guarantee they would only do it once, therefore reducing accidents on our roadways.
I walk in Parksville every day and every day I see someone texting and driving and have had many close calls with texting drivers.
