Have to say thank you to the City of Parksville crews for the Pym Street/Island Highway Canadian flag flower display.

Every year it’s a great effort. My favourite was the peacock and happy to know it is displayed at the park.

While on the subject of thanks, I must mention the Co-op gas station for cleaning up that (Corfield/Island Highway) corner and MacDonald Realty for doing such a good job on that old building (Island Highway near Finholm).

Then, while reading a recent edition of The NEWS, I need to say thank you to letter writer Cathy Edge for telling life truths.
