A bouquet to Qualicum Beach Legion for providing a wonderful Veterans’ lunch on Oct 22.

Not knowing that the events in Ottawa earlier in the day would take place made this event even more significant to those who attended. The speakers left meaningful and thoughtful stories expressing the love and freedom for our great country.

I never heard the Canadian anthem sang with so much devotion as by our veterans there — they are the glue to our freedom.
