Re: the Oceanside Health Centre.
We have to admit, in the beginning we were pretty skeptical about the role and value of the new health centre.
We groaned when our doctor decided to join the primary care team. As patients, the first few months were a little trying while they were getting used to delivering health care in a different way, but we stuck with it, at times reluctantly.
Now, 10 months later, we have nothing but praise for both the clinic and the staff.
The primary care doctor and her small team of nurse practitioners, nurses and assistants are very helpful and readily available.
Other members of the health care team such as home care, long term care and wound care are easily accessible.
We have also been very fortunate to have had some of the care providers visit us at home. We are impressed, and wish to thank all of you who have contributed to our ongoing health care in such a positive way.
