There's no need to pollute

People come to this part of the island for a reason, and it's not coal

Our island life is looked up to around the country, and those ready to retire gravitate to Vancouver Island for the peace and relaxation the Island offers in our retirement years.

Central Vancouver Island is a jewel that is positioned well for tourism, golfing, fishing, etc. That all revolves around protecting and preserving our special way of life on the Island.

An investment in our economy is not an investment if it does damage to our water, increases emissions and pollutes our region, causing potential challenges that could last for decades.

In my opinion, we have the ability to choose a different path that boosts our economy and provides employment without any negative effects to our water resources or our marine eco-system.
