Union tantrum

“Bravo” to letter writer Carol Doering for having the insight and courage to articulately call a spade a proper digging tool.

May I take this opportunity to offer a hearty “Bravo” to letter writer Carol Doering of Qualicum Beach for having the insight and courage to articulately call a spade a proper digging tool.

There once was a time when labour unions were a necessary reality in order to force compassion in a society more attuned to privileged class hierarchies. Pardon me if the unions of today, in their efforts to justify their existence, seem to initiate job action that more closely resembles organized tantrum.
