Two junior teams from the Qualicum & District Curling Club traveled to the Comox Junior Bonspiel this past weekend and had a great showing.

The competitive team of Jackson Marshall, Duncan Gallop, Tyler Wiersma and Alex Hunter won all three games but came second in the end, based on the point system.

The novice team of Jackson Nowak, Isaac Brightland, Eli Bodnaruk and Ember Jacobson won all three games and placed first in the novice event.

The Qualicum and District Curling Club Junior Bonspiel will be held on Saturday, December 6, which will see teams from other clubs on the Island converge on Qualicum Beach to see where they stand with these two junior teams from the local club.
